The Galway sessions 14th -21st of June
A festival of Irish traditional music featuring premier local and internationally renowned acts. Events include the big stage, folk club gigs, set dancing, ceilis and pub trails
The music sessions take place in multiple venues in Galway City, including the Crane Bar, Róisín Dubh, Monroe's Tavern, The Quays, Tigh Neachtáin, Tigh Cóilí, Taffees, Massimo's, and Áras na Gael.

June 27th
Women’s Mini Marathon
A new event, launched by the Galway Simon Community, to celebrate 30 years of providing accommodation and support to homeless people. Starting at 11:30am, from the starting and finishing line at Southpark, in the Claddagh. All proceeds will go to the Galway Simon community.

6th – 11th July - Galway Film Fleadh
This year it will be Galway’s 22nd Film Fleadh. It is Ireland’s leading international film festival, lasting six days, and welcoming a diversity of filmmaking from around the world. It brings together the cinema going public, film buffs, student filmmakers, industry professionals and invited guests to share together the wonder of cinema.
We’ll get the popcorn ready……….

Galway Arts Festival
You could say that the Galway arts festival perfectly expresses what Galway is all about. The Galway arts festival is the highlight in Galway city’s calendar, and finds both the city celebrating the festival, and the festival celebrating the wonder that is Galway City. Over 100,000 people attend the festival, to share in the works of hundreds of writers, artists, performers, musicians.
